As we look in on the little community of Pine Ridge, we find Abner tending to the 10 rabbits he traded for last week. As he builds crates to keep them in, he finds there are more rabbits than he started with. Not to mention that he turned lose all the rabbits in the store so he could build the rabbit pens. The overstock of livestock has Lum complaining, when Cedric enters, they see a patsy to offload the mule and turn over all rights to him. Their timing couldn’t be worse though when grandpap enters and buys Cedric’s mule.
