Lum and Abner talk about their bad luck in getting the store restarted. Everyone is making money from it except them. Since they’ve taken Cedric in as Vice President, all the bright ideas and sales have come from him, so they decide to make him their Marketing Director. Putting Cedric on the spot as their resident genius, they come up with an idea for a cash drawing every Saturday. Hmm… it’s really Lum’s idea, he just gets Cedric to give his OK to it.
