Jim and Mary and Jordan posing for the camera in 1941. The vintage black and white illustration of a couple sitting in a cozy living room. Fibber is holding a newspaper and Molly is knitting. They are both looking at a small dog that is sitting on a rug between them. The room is decorated with a patterned wallpaper, framed pictures, and a vase with flowers on a table in the background."

Billy Mills opens with, I’m Just Wild About Harry.

In a pleasant picture of pastoral life, Fibber stands on the front lawn, watering the flowers. Nick Dipopolus arrives to compare notes on what each have in their yards. Teeny is next to find out why water helps the grass to stay green.

After Harlowe Wilcox does some hard sales of the sponsor product, Gildersleeve tries to pass on the walk, but can he do it without getting sprayed? Tempers flare, and the hose is cut to pieces. When Gildie learns it was his own hose that Fibber borrowed, McGee flees to the safety of his own home. Will Fibber be worried when he learns from Harlowe that Gildersleeve is a collegiate boxing champion?

Some punching bag practice convinces Fibber it’s a good time to leave town, but Molly wants him to apologize. As he steps out, Abigail Upington enters to chat with Molly about the physical condition of Gildersleeve. Poor McGee. The Old Timer enters to tell it the way he hear’d it about new moving pictures. Punch Bowl McGee talks about his powerful past as a posing puncher in his younger days.

The Kingsman sing, Swing Low Sweet Chariot.

Are there any things that Fibber might do to train for the big fight? Horatio Boomer pops in to offer accident insurance. He seems to have plenty of trivial items, but imagine that! No insurance policy!

Gildersleeve enters for the big face off, and the insults fly. The time has come for action, and the gent’s step into the next room to handle it. Should Molly be worried?
