The town is plastered with posters, and Fibber has two tickets for the circus. In calling for a taxi, Fibber learns that Mirt the phone operator had her aunt beat up by her uncle. The Old Timer pops in to ask a favor, and tell it the way he hear’d it about television. Before Fibber can tell how he got his free tickets, Gildersleeve enters with his own tickets, and anticipation over the attraction.

Time for that hard sales spot for the sponsor, presented by Harlowe Wilcox.

At the circus, Fibber enjoys the sights and sounds, and a visit with Teeny. She doesn’t; t care for the candy, or shows, she just pretends, since her daddy loves it all so much. Sideshows include the human skeleton, but it turns out to be that soft sale spot by Harlow for the sponsor.

Buster Dawson, played by Gale Gordon, is an old friend of Fibber. Catching up on old times in the circus together is cut short when Abigail Upington arrives. Does Buster know secrets on her past career as a bare back rider? The Kingsman sing, The Singing Hills.

Boomer is on hand, and has about everything except for his sheriff’s badge. Invited to Dawson’s private box, all Fibber needs to do to get in is remember a name to drop.
