It’s the classic fairy tale of a poor shoe maker and his starving family. when things are looking worst, the shoemaker goes to get ready to make his shoes for the day, and finds a batch of shoes already made. Money begins to roll in, and the family can begin to buy the supplies they need. They can plan for the future.
what’s the secret behind the strange events? That’s what the family wants to know as well. when they learn the secret, it ruins their whole set up. The elves who had been helping them get offended, and leave the struggling family the way it was before.
The dramatization offers some nice additions to Hans Christian Andersen’s original tale.
