A short episode that ends early. As desk sergeant Burns and Captain Canelli discuss matters of police station administration, a robber has been picked up. If Leroy’s story is to be believed, there may be a dirty cop acting as an accomplice. Part of his story is verified when the police find loot in the burglar’s apartment that matches reports of stolen property from earlier in the month.
In voiceover, Canelli tells how he has narrowed down a list of patrolmen on duty in the period of time in question. Leroy offers a glimpse in the life of a common thief and robber, but can he implicate a policeman in his nefarious deeds? During his interview, the audio cuts off. Darn. Not sure if there’s a more complete recording of this episode out there, but if someone finds one, let me know.
