Poking around the gifts hidden in the closet, Fibber snoops to see what goodies he may be getting this year. A near miss with both the hall closet, and Molly is narrowly averted. Alice Darling shows off her new hairdo. She tells about her complicated dating life, and war bonds seem to be the trendy gift for the season. Doc Gamble enters to see Fibber’s early gift that Molly gave him. What kind of early Christmas has been coming doc’s way? Was it doc who sent the big, white wrapped present? As Fibber weasels another early gift out of Molly, Billy Mills plays, Jingle Bells.
Molly has had to clean the closet out on her own, but that white present, with the blue bow still has Fibber’s curiosity up. Harlow Wilcox arrives to spin the commercial. Maybe Beulah knows about that mystery package? Nope, but she talks about her own gift giving for relatives, especially the one who got drafted.
As Fibber is reminded of who that gift is for, and where it came from, Teeny enters with her friends to sing their annual special. Backed up by the Kingsman, they sing their version of, The Night Before Christmas.
Fibber and Molly offer a special. Word of hope for those serving overseas.
