Archie gets a call from Duffy and he complains about his Christmas card and other Christmas sentiments. The gang all seem to be in the Christmas spirit, but Archie is still a little grumpy over how cheap Duffy is. Finnegan is a little confused over some of his Christmas gifts and customs. Archie tries to snap himself out of his slump by listening to the radio, but the stations are all playing the same tune.
As Archie locks up, he gets a special visitor. They take a walk and Archie learns a lesson a la Scrooge style. They pop into a church to learn a little about hope and tolerance. Then back to the streets and finding comfort in adversity. In a dramatic moment, a man is going to jump from a building. Can Archie, or his new friend stop him? Hope is shown to again triumph over despair.
Through the crazy events, and troubles in the night, Archie’s visitor demonstrates how lending a hand of help can improve the worst of human situations. Back in the tavern, Archie’s visitor mysteriously vanishes, but somehow, he has learned a little, and even gotten a dose of real Christmas spirit.
