When we last saw Superman, he was busy rescuing Lois Lane from the stormy sea, and thought Perry White to have drowned in the waves. Hans Holbein is desperate as people are closing in on him and has his island hideout booby trapped with explosives.
Today, the charges are set, Perry White is held captive as the clock ticks closer to destruction. One of Holbein’s henchmen is also left behind, and tells Perry all about the dirty dealings that Hans is involved in.
Elsewhere, Superman has delivered Lois to the hospital, and vows to find Hans Holbein. In the sky a plane is found as it flees from the island. Superman lets it land, then plans his ambush and revenge. The Man of Steel lays all his cards on the table, and grills the racketeer. Will the secret of Perry White, and his fate on the doomed island come out in the open? Is there time to rescue Perry?
Answers arrive when we find our friends back in the office of the Daly Planet. For the moment all is well, but another dangerous adventure is brewing so stay tuned.
