In the office of the Daily Planet the presses are working at top speed when disaster has struck. Clark Kent and Lois Lane speed to Maryville to get the scoop on the late breaking news that centers on Hans Holbein. There was an explosion at his doll factory, and our heroes are after the story.
Unknown to them, Hans is a racketeer who uses the doll factory as a front. Hans knows Clark is coming, and is bent on making sure that disaster falls on the snooping reporter. When Clark’s car is stopped with a warning that the road is out, he finds a lame excuse to leave, and do some exploring as Superman.
stopped by a thug, the gangsters’ guns and threats won’t cause Superman to fear as he laughs when bullets bounce offs him. After making short work of his attacker, Superman returns to being Clark and with Lois they continue their trip to Maryville. But Hans Holbein isn’t finished in trying to put Clark six feet under.
Finally in town, Lois talks with Hans, who plays like he’s surprised at the recent disasters, but while he kidnaps her, Clark is out having his own brushes with the thugs. Stay tuned and listen in to further thrilling adventures to see what trouble our heroes get into next.
