Visiting a seedy bar, Drummond takes Denny to meet up with Roxy. What’s the exchange all about? Is this all just a case of mistaken identity? An envelope with a claim check, and a thousand dollar bill opens the door to a mystery.
Miss Miller may hold some information about the claim check with Steve Mantel. Denny sheds his clothes to help give the slip to the stranger who is following Miss Miller. Elsewhere, Steve is missing, but the pajama clad man in the apartment offers a clue that lets Drummond know he’s on to something.
The situation gets tense, and strikes close to home. Alter egos, an increasing body count, and precautions that Drummond takes, all add to the suspenseful convergence of clues. Drummond thinks he knows who a killer is, and he confronts them with a trap to reveal the truth, and a hunt for radium using a geiger counter
