Clark puts the finishing touches on his report of the burst dam at Direville when Parry White calls Kent into his office. Elsie Beacham is introduced, and she tells the story of her father. He has disappeared in the jungles of South America. His last letter to her left some odd instructions that were out of character for him, he claimed to be hiding out in his house in Brentwood, but there’s no sign of him there.
Clark drives elsie to the darkened stone house, but he leaves her alone in the car so he can snoop around as Superman. He kicks in the gate to the electrified fence and returns to drive Elsie onto the grounds.
Again, Kent leaves the frightened Elsie alone in the car as he goes to snoop around the house. It doesn’t take long, and Elsie blows the car horn as barking dogs goe wild around the car. Superman fights off the dogs.
Now there are strange sounds coming from inside the house, the sound of drums, and a huge man is coming their way. Who is the big man? Is Elsie Beacham’s father safe in the house? Find out in the next thrilling episode of Superman.
