A story of a clean up campaign that was messed up by murder.
A lawyer who is bent on cleaning up crime on the streets is the victim of a drive by shooting. Fortunately, the gangsters missed. As the lawyer steps off the street, he talks with his worried secretary, Lee, and the story begins to develop. He seems to be clueless as to the affections of a long time friend, Dianne. Kit considers Lee to be his steady gal.
The mysterious mobster that Kit is after suddenly kidnaps Lee to influence him to retire from his position, and back off. Will Kit do it? It all happened so suddenly, and just when there was a hot tip on taking down the big gangster.
The lawyer, Kit won’t back down, but 2will the thugs really kill Lee? Is Dianne involved somehow? His girl is returned, but who can he trust? Who is really on his side? So many questions, such a dilemma.

Kit claims to be resigning from office, but before he falls under the pressure of the gangsers, he investigates a few murders. Kit finally ties up the loose ends on his elusive mob boss. Who is it?
