Black Museum – The Door Key. 12, 1952.

As he often does, Orson Wells takes us on a tour of the items in the Black Museum. He points out the door key that he features in today’s story of death.

A maid cleans a hotel room and finds a body. The cops scrutinize the personal affects in the room, and the various items in the dead man’s pockets. They are sure that a key they found will unlock the door to a murderer. The maid offers some clues as well when she tells about a man in the room the night before.

Will the new info change the cops mind about the key? All clues are followed up on, and a situation of a love triangle emerges. They also find that door that matches the key. Puzzle pieces begin falling into place quickly.
