There’s danger on the trail ahead! Heigh Ho Silver Away!

As a railroad train crosses a tressle it collapses. Later, around a camp fire, a group of the surviving miners who were on board, and on their way for new jobs working in the mines, talk about the wreck, and their chances to get busy prospecting. The talk turns towards the mysterious tall stranger in the white hat. Then he mysteriously disappears.

The Lone Ranger goes to talk to a friend of the miners, and tells of their tragedy, and delay in getting to the mines. Details emerge that show how the delays will hurt the mining company. As Lone Ranger investigates, Dan Reed and Tonto build a lean to, and Tonto gives Dan a lesson in how to use an ax.

In town, Dan and Tonto do some investigation of their own. How do all their clues play together? Is there some kind of evil plan going on? Tonto confronts one of the key players, but becomes a target of the evildoers. Lone Ranger swoops in to rescue Tonto, and leave his mark as a warning to the bad guys.

The events are enough to make the bad guys worry, but There’s still the matter of missing gold to find, and Joe the miner still faces going out of business.

A few days go by, and there’s a plan brewing, but how will Lone Ranger, Tonto, and Dan spring their trap and bring justice? You know they will, and in colorful style too.
