Alone in the jungle with three men, one is the man you came to arrest, but you must figure out which one before he gets away. Features Jeff Chandler.

On a sweltering day a tramp steamer approaches the coast of the jungles of Borneo. A man is in pursuit of a murderer who has fled from San Fransisco. He tells the official from Borneo the background of the story, and why he is after the killer. The official tells the investigator from America about the three men who might meet his description, but they likely all have manufactured stories, and already know that the investigator is here and what he wants. Will the investigator be reduced to relying only on their personalities? Might he discover a flaw in their stories?

The three men are gathered together so the American investigator can interview them, and ask his pointed questions. Will the key come from the kind of drink the men enjoy? The music they enjoy? From some other source? The official of Borneo settles the investigator in for the night, where he spends time with his thoughts.

Suddenly there’s a bump in the night, and he is in full alert, with weapons drawn. The suspense is broken when the bump in the night is discovered to be from a girl in a sarong. Hey, what kind of story would this be without a pretty girl for the detective to fall for? Too bad the gal is the wife of the official.

Danger still lurks in the night when the detective is cornered by a deadly snake, and has to shoot it. The accidents and tensions build. The girl seems to hold the answer for the mystery, but when she doesn’t show up to meet with the detective, does it change his mind? The American detective takes a different approach, and promises a surprise at the dinner party he is going to throw as he departs.

What happened to the girl? What secret does the American know? How will he be able to force the hand of the killer, and his man that he’s looking for? I could tell you but it would spoil the fun of listening for yourself.
