walter, the stomach with feet, pops in for a bite of breakfast. His perkiness warns against a protest that the students have organized over the new policy, and informs Miss Brooks that she has been elected as their spokesman. Doing her best, Connie delivers a speech to convince the students to attend class. Mr Stone phones and wants the students to go home.
Connie consults Mr Boynton about what she should do. Should the students stay, or should they go? Fed up with the decisions of the faculty, walter takes matters into his own hands and plans a fake fire drill. with all the mis up, and complications, how will this crazy mixed up day end?
