A gang of juvenile delinquents attempt a break in, but it goes wrong. Before you know it, there’s a murder, and they’re on the run from the cops.
The cops enlist the help of Doctor Danfield. Dan actually gets into a minor argument with his assistant, Miss Fairfax when she’s concerned over the danger that he’ll be in. He even goes so far as to fire her to get her off his back.
At the crime scene, Doc Danfield sums up the situation, and using his powers of psychology, sets about profiling the people involved. When Doctor Dan gets roughed up, has the fears of Miss Fairfax come true? Has he met a match where his wits can’t prevail over braun?
Dan has been kidnapped, but he tries to smooth talk his way to safety from the thugs who hold him captive. The worried Miss Fairfax rushes to the hideout to do what she can to rescue her boss. The cops seem unconcerned and our heros are left to fend for themselves.
Will it take more than just smarts to get free of the gang? As a gun battle rages, Dan and Miss Fairfax dodge killers as they make their escape from the rickety building. After Doc Danfields most challenging case, he makes up and rehires his assistant. Hey, what’s a brainy detective like Doc Danfield going to do without his cute assistant anyway?
