From the perspective of new born babies, a nursery of the squalling tiny tots tell about the hole in the sky that is to bring them here. What has the babies bothered, and refusing to be born? The disturbing sights make the kiddies want to go on strike as, being unfair to unborn babies.
Will anyone break the baby picket line? St Pete is in distress, but even when a baby is willing to be born, will it do any good if there aren’t any parents who want him? Should they just wait it out for a hundred years, and start the world fresh again? If they do, who will they be born to? Everybody will be too old to have new babies.
Terms are presented, and an agreement made. Who gets to go first? Hey, who knew that babies parachute in? How will the world take it when the first baby born in weeks pulls himself up to stand, and give a speech on behalf of all the other unborn babies? Attention from the White House, the press, an appearance on Quiz Kids, and even the object of a hit song, all give the spokes baby center stage to the world.
Freedom, is what all babies want, and until it happens the babies will continue to stop being born. Can anyone promise such a thing? Congress passes the bill, and paratrooping babes fill the skies.
PS: With all due respect to Green Berets everywhere, and song writers SSgt Barry Sadler, and Robin Moore (c)1966
Striking babies from the sky,
Fearless babies who jump and cry.
Babes who mean just what they say,
The babes who fill their diaper today.Peace and freedom within their chest,
these are babies, America’s best,
hundreds of babies will jump today,
in hopes that war will go away.Back at home a young mom waits,
her little baby won’t be late.
he brings hope for those oppressed,
praying that the world will be blessed.Peace and freedom within their chest,
these are babies, America’s best,
hundreds of babies will jump today,
in hopes that war will go away.
