A woman complains to her man that he has been dropping the ball on social obligations lately. He spends too much time at work. To keep from arguing, they keep the topic of conversation on neutral topics as they walk along the beach.
Suddenly, their petty griefs melt away as they come across a strange old man who refuses to answer them as he sits, and writes names in the sand. What does it mean? Why won’t the man respond to them? They try to approach the man, but he disappears. What rational explanation can this have? What does it mean? As the couple explores the situation, they go on an emotional, and psychological roller coaster ride.
