This episode is a milestone one, and Fibber reads a telegram from Jack Benny to honor the 200th show for the McGee’s. Mel Blanc hiccups his way through a quick encounter before Harlow Wilcox gets in a plug for the sponsor.
Abigail Uppington gets Fibber onto an Easter Bunny theme. Fibber experiences the thrill of getting rain on his mail route, and while he takes shelter he reads another celebrity greeting this time from Bob Hope. Zazu Pitts gets her mail, and gives back a glimpse of her disappointing love life. She’s just not the glamorous kind.
The Four Notes sing, I Cried for You. Fibber gets a telephone message of congradulation from an Eddie Cantor fan club. Boomer is on Fibbers route to recieve mail, but to recieve a registered letter he needs some ID, which he has… well he doesn’t have it, but he has just about everything else.
