After a forced landing on their way to Austrailia, Captain Friday and Skip Turner find Gracie and her parrot stranded on the same island. The girl had survived for 6 months by foraging the lush jungle growth. There’s one problem, a mysterious man is determined to keep Gracie on the island. Can our heros manage to kidnap Gracie away from the island, once they make repairs to their airplane?
As Gracie hides out from the pirate, she impresses Skip with her feats in evading her enemies. Will she let them help her get off the island? Should Friday and Skip take her by force?
Gracie isn’t the run of the mill damsel in distress. She shows the guys some of her toughness as she describes part of her ordeal on the island before they came along. She’s not about to take off with them just because they want her to go. In fact, the guys have had to tie her up to learn about her ordeal. With the hazards of the island, and the danger of the pirate,
why isn’t it a given that Gracie wants to go? What if Manuel the pirate catches up with them? Is there room to fly him off the island as well? Is there still more secrets that the island holdds?
