After one of those famous concoctions that Mrs
Davis is known for making for breakfast, Connie is off to get her car from the repair shop. It’ll be a nice long ride alone in her car with Mr Boynton.
She soon finds out they won’t exactly be alone on the car ride. MacDougal the frog has an injury, and just can’t be left alone. The extra passenger sets the tone, and next thing you know, the ride in quiet solitude turns into a car full of the usual cast members. Miss Brooks is just way too soft hearted to just say, “No” to any of her friends.
With a freshly repaired car, and Mr Conklin navigating, there’s no likelyhood of having problems, is there? Silly old optimistic me. What kind of a sit-com would it be if the maximum of trouble doesn’t strike? If I say more, I’ll spoil the fun.
Joe Kearns is the mechanic, Frank Nelson joins in on the fun as a man who Connie gives a lift. Those two guys sure get around the old time radio scene. And you just gotta love that MacDoogal. (gulp).
