A call to be a bodyguard for a life insurance policy holder gets Johnny to spring into action. Ann has a problem with a man who is out to kill her. Who is he and why is he after Ann? Ann invokes pity, since she is a penniless woman with no one to protect her from the perils of life.
As secrets are revealed, a story of a man with mental illness emerges, but Johnny may find that the unstable man isn’t the bad guy in this story. He may be unstable, and Ann’s life may be in real danger, but it could also be that Ann isn’t so innocent and helpless as she let on.
Johnny is able to get help for those who actually need it, and bring down justice for those who are trying to pull a fast one.
