Box13 – Look Pleasant Please. 481205 Dan Holiday is to meet a lady who needs help, but first she wants him to have a photograph taken with her. Who is this well dressed, apparently well to do young lady? The job seems so simple, there has to be something deeper going on here.
The nextt day it becomes a little more clear, but not after some mysterious comments from Dan’s secretary, Suzy, and his policeman friend. Dan learns from the social register that he is to be married to that mystery gal, whose real name is Marsha Jameson. What’s going on? That’s what Dan sets out to learn for himself.
It’s pretty clear that the woman is trying to play a game with her rich uncle. Big bucks are involved. She has to be married to inherit the cash, but the deadline is only days away. Her previous fiancee’s have turned up dead. Dan is no stranger to danger, but he wants to learn why he’s being used. He shares the facts that he has uncovered with the cops, and decide to lay a trap for rich uncle Roger. Can they lure him out in the open? Will they be able to pin him down for the murder of the previous fiancees?
It just might work, unless Dan gets himself killed first. The killer’s efforts are thwarted when Dan finds some suspicious paperwork, and other odd happenings. Sneaky plot twists are revealed as Dan blows the cover off the scheme for the cops to step in and take over.
