Who is Dr. Drear, and what kind of asylum does he run?
Part 1: Rookie patrolman Dan Garret is approached by a woman whose father has disappeared. Her banker dad has been worried, and his psychiatrist, Dr Drear seems to have done something with him. Dan doesn’t seem to fully believe her, but goes to the asylum to investigate. At the asylum, the doc makes things seem on the up and up, but Dan spots some snags in their story so the Blue Beetle returns to break the real banker out. If he can.
Part 2: After being over powered, attacked with tear gas, and placed in a straight jacket, the Blue Beetle is held with some of the more severe, and dangerous patients in the asylum. Meanwhile the nephew of the missing banker makes his moves to take over. Using his super vitality,the Blue Beetle makes his escape while the guards are drunk on the job. Wow, such quality and professional job performance.
The Blue Beetle takes the real banker to where the papers are being signed to thwart the turn over of the business interests to the evil nephew, and saves the day.
