Singing cowboy, Monte Hale is on a road trip in his car, with a couple friends. They arrive at his hide away in the country, a place that is in much need of repairs. The guys hav their ranch work interupted when a woman shows up with a more pressing problem. Monte takes time to sing, My Book of Memories.
Who is trying to sabotage Monte, and why? Monte has to make trips to talk with his lawyer, Mr Smith about his land. Should he sell out?
It’s one of those happy cowboy stories where he holds seemingly worthless land that wins him fortunes by avoiding greedy land grabbers. At the end, Monte plugs his latest film where he appears with the Riders of the Purple Sage. The Riders sing, So long to the Red River Valley.
