After his recent purchase of 5 cases of hats, they were delivered, and Lum discovered the hats weren’t for men, but unadorned women’s hats. Not to be outdone, Lum is determined on adding a milanary department to the Jot ‘Em Down store to fix up custom made hats for the women in town.
With all the wierd, outlandish, and sometimes terrible and ugly hats that are in fashion these days, Lum figures that he can make them as well as anybody. The gents discuss name brand fashion designers of the day, which gets Abner a little confused. What name brand might Lum come up with to give his hats a dignified, French sounding name?
