Laura is a mom who is raising David along with her father, Jeb. When her husband, Joe returns, Laura has a hard time telling her son that the crude, hardcase man is actually his dad. Instead, she passes him off as uncle Joe. Even David doesn’t like the stranger and is eager for the round up so he’ll just go away.
Tragedy strikes when old grandpa Jeb breaks his leg, and Joe sees his chance to hook up with his rustling buddies. He’s even cold hearted enough to use David as a diversion, and let stampeding cattle rush towards him. With rustlers stampeding and stealing the herd, Lone Ranger and Tonto have to act fast to rescue young David.
Will there be a last minute change of heart from Joe? Even if he manages to help rescue David, Will his change come a little too late? Will David ever learn who Joe really is?
