The show opens in it’s usual way, with Miss Dimples taking a phone call. Flywheel has a mission for Revelli, mailing a letter to an old friend. When Revelli does arrive, he has trouble with the prize fighter that he has invested in.
Mrs Willoughby stops in to have the law firm handle her taxes. It’s Flywheel’s lucky day, she is looking for a tax shelter, and he’s looking for an investor in Revelli’s boxer.
Mrs Willoughby meets with Flywheel to talk about her investments, and trade insults. Transition into Revelli on stage in the theater to play a tune. The Monkey Doodle Doo.
Revelli and Flywheel visit the boxer before the fight to offer encouraging words. Willoughby faces off with Flywheel to demand an accounting of her money. Word has come that the opposing boxer is absent,so Revelli has to fill in. When Revelli manages to win the boxing match, who will win the battle between Flywheel and Willoughby?
