Jane gets a telegram, but Irma expresses her belief of telegrams bringing bad luck. The silly superstition is soon proved wrong, and Jane gets the news that her aunt Harriot is coming for a visit. Jane wants Irma, and all their friends to be on their best behavior when the straight laced, and wealthy aunt arrives. Yeah, good luck on that one jane.
Richard has some ideas to entertain the rich aunt, while Irma is left to get advice from Al. Of course Al has a few business ideas, and is eager to run them past Janes relative. When Mrs Riley has an emergency, she leaves a baby in the care of Irma. Wow, it must be life threatening to be forced into that situation.
Seeing an opportunity, Irma and Al decide that being babysitters will help to make a favorable impression. It’ll be almost like playing house. Or a test run on their marriage.
Wow, Irma with a baby, I hope somebody has life insurance. Can Jane keep her friends from aunt Harriot? Will Irma and Al get some good child rearing advice? What does professor Kropotkin know about it? What about Al’s friend Joe?
What about a few mix ups and embarrassing moments once aunt Harriot shows up, and tries to figureout who the baby belongs to?
