Is there hope the pirates will give up and go back to the safety of the harbor? As the Spindrift has to dodge other ships at sea, Betty comes on deck. She has been tossed about down below, she might as well join the guys on deck.
The storm seems to be getting worse. Is uncle Jim correct in thinking the storm will track off in a different direction soon? Should they also turn back to the safety of Manila harbor?
