A knock at the door finds Abigail Uppington visiting, and getting a dose of Fibbers new found culture. Will she have some input about a literary agent for him? Billy Mills plays a swinging dance number.
The McGee’s get confused over what a monocle is. A phone call hints at an important visitor for Fibber, and his cultured Brittish accent. The door bell rings only to reveal the Old Timer. He gets confused over pretzels… or is that pistols… or a pelican? Well somebody gave him the bird. Harlowe Wilcox arrives to share a word from the sponsor, twisting all of Fibbers story situations into the commercial.
After more word playful confusion, Fibbers agent arrives. She gives her impressive credentials. As she describes her intended services, the Kingsmen sing, Until the Balls are Flown.
Will Fibber make it big in the magazines? As his dreams run toward the movies, or plays, the door bell reveals a visit from Wallace Wimple. The henpecked man shares a little about his writing experience in free verse. Also about his latest battles with his big old wife, Sweetie Face.
Molly pops into the kitchen to leave Fibber to dream about his big bucks with Teeny. Will she be patient, and hear about Fibbers book, or will she want to play?
Her secret may reveal a serious flaw in Fibbers writing. Will he lose all his riches?
