Billy and Betty have been waiting for their pals, Jack and uncle Jim to return from the Black Shark. Jack fills them in on how things went, but now the three of them wonder what’s happened o uncle Jim, Cann they trust the Philipino that is calling to them from the shore>? Under cover of darkness, they slip away, but aren’t sure if the note left for them is for real.
Should they follow the instructions on the note? Is it uncle Jim’s handwriting or not? Should they plan on countering a trap>? Jack sends a message ahead to the hotel while Betty and Billy flag down a taxi.
After a car crash, our heroes hesitate on taking a ride from a stranger. Police sirens scare the stranger away, and our friends are safe for now.
