It’s the Adventures of Gracie Allen, with George Burns and the first appearance for singer and band leader, Tony Martin.

Gracie is excited over her being married soon. George interupts her zaniness to introduce Tony Martin. With greeting all around, Tony mentions his last picture, Pigskin Parade which gets Gracie confused. Gracie talks about two men kissing. Scandalous, but she explains what she meant by her comment.

Gracie talks about Tony’s good looks, and him being the romantic type. Gracie evaluates the men on the show by their kissing abilities. Tony sings, There’s Something in the Air.

Gracie keeps up the jokes about kissing Tony Martin. Then the focus turns to other topics. In honor of Thanksgiving tomorrow, Gracie wants to do a play about the indians landing at Plymouth Rock. She assigns the parts to the cast. After some jokes about turkeys, and butchers, the play begins. Well, after Tony Martin’s Melodymen Orchestra plays a tune.

The play starts with pilgrims and jokes about dogs. In talking with the indians, there’s plenty of puns, and sidesteps from staying in character. Gracie even breaks out into a poem to plug the sponsor.

Gracie closes the show in her usual fashion for this show by singing, Give Me the Money.
