On the beach, a young married couple comment on the news of a bank robbery, and the superstition of losing your wedding ring. The electrician scoffs at the idea, but when his bride discovers that her ring has been lost on the beach, they turn back to look for it.
They spot a man who has just picked something up from the place they were just relaxing. Does he have her ring? Bad luck raises its head when the man kidnaps them, thinking the couple are police informants.
You guessed it, he is one of the robbers. While he divides up the loot, our engineer hero finds he can repair the damaged telephone to call for help. Bad luck has been put on its head. And what about the missing wedding ring? Well, there’s good luck there too.
