Shannon and Saylor return on the Bold Venture from a shopping trip, when they find a lifeboat with shot up corpses. Elsewhere, we get a hint of the deadly game that the mysterious Mary Kay is up to. Slate takes the clues he has to the authorities, and learns about the long missing ship. The authorities are moving too slow for Slate, and it bothers him. Then a tale of trafficing in refugees reaches his ear. It’s just the thing to cause Slate to spring into action, but will he find himself shanghaied?
King croons to Saylor as she waits forSlate. Checking on their lead to locate a missing refugee, Saylor finds herself being taken at gunpoint. Meanwhile, Slate wakes up on the Mary Kay and is getting a free ride, along with the rest of the refugees. They all paid $500 apiece for their fate, and he’s getting it for nothing.
Saylor finds herself on the Mary Kay, and finds Slate. Can they warn the refugees of the death that waits them? Will the refugees believe them, or want to give up their dream life in America? After circling offshore for days, the moment comes, and men with Tommy guns enter. A mutiny turns the tables. But will the refugees lose out on their shot at the American dream?
