Captain Friday, his friend Skip Turner, and secretary Patricia had all been taken captive by some of the native people of Cambodia. Along with another expedition headed up by Dr Carter and his daughter Celia, they are taken deeper and deeper into the jungles of Indochina. The truth about their being prisoners comes to the surface. All they had to do was say the word at any time, and their native escorts would’ve taken them back unharmed.
