Hard at work, Phil lays down the line of discipline in band rehearsal. Can the guys meet the demands of the sponsor to play classical music? Alice meets the boys in the band and tells about wanting to replace the lost dog. She and Willie take Phil to the car to show off the new Chihuahua. Still a far cry from the manly dog Phil expected. Feeling sorry for his friend, Frankie decides to buy a Great Dane to surprise Phil and the family. At home, the girls get their first glimpse of the Chihuahua. Does he meet their expectations? They take the pooch for a walk, while Phil sings, Civilization.
Frankie lets Phil see his horse sized dog, and first impressions are made with Alice. The girls seem to like the new king sized pet. Even Julius arrives with the groceries to add his jokes. There’s a problem when Phil finds out the dog has been stolen from a movie set. While he’s returning the dog, Alice sings, I’ve Got a Secret.
Not aware of the fact that the missing dog from the studio has been returned, Phil and Frankie find themselves in their own kind of trouble in trying to ditch the dog. Though they abandon the dog, he manages to get home first, and they need to explain themselves to Alice.
