Still in Palm Springs, Don brings us that picture of health… that bronzed Adonis… Jack Benny. Tanned and healthy, Jack has to explain a mishap in sunbathing. Even Don has lost weight, but it doesn’t stop the fat jokes. Mary tells secrets on Jack’s horseback riding. Dennis tells how his trip has been then sings, Frenesy.
The back up group for Dennis only speaks Spanish, and wants to know when Jack will pay them. After a quick brush off, Jack introduces the murder mystery play. Phil arrives late, and explains about the lady he met, who delayed him. The parts are assigned, and after a corny commercial that Don balks at, Phil plays, Wise Old Owl.
The play begins, but is again interrupted by the Mexican trio demanding pay, but Jack insists on doing it mañana (tomorrow). Jokes fly with hotel related themes, bridal suite, and exclusive clubs. Can the cops even get in to see the body? real life actor, and Racquet Club owner, Charlie Farrell shows Jack around. Peter Lorrie makes an appearance as a possible murderer. But the ongoing question is, will that Mexican trio ever get paid?
