While Lum goes to the county seat to straighten out the matter with child welfare, and Robert the Robot, Abner takes care of business in the store. Cedric enters to get brought up to date on the details. Abner still hasn’t heard from Dr Drill, but the gents have felt justified in getting some work out of his invention.
Having spent time practicing with Roberts remote control, Abner feels like the most powerful man in town. He has begun putting together a list of folks to have Robert help get revenge on. Should Abner take Cedric’s advice, and have Robert make the deliveries?
Abner would still need to go on the deliveries, since he would have to be close enough to watch as he guided Robert from place to place. An idea strikes after the steady input that Cedric has been giving as he reads from his favorite comic book, Captain Stalwart.
