Realizing the gents have a good thing going with their robot, Squire tries to convince Abner to let him get in on making money with Robert.
With Squire behind the marketing, he knows they will do well. Abner gets confused over Squire’s figure of speech about being the barker. Though he tries to explain the carnival term, Abner only gets more confused. As amazing as Robert is, Abner doesn’t want to see the mechanical man be exploited. A stranger appears and begins asking questions about Robert. She is truly amazed at the size and age of the latest helper in the store.
Are the gents overworking Robert? Why is the lady so worked up over the way Abner is treating him? Squire knows there was a misunderstanding that just went down. To keep Abner from being reported to Dr Drill, Squire uses it as leverage to make Abner take him on as a partner with Robert.
