Humphrey Bogart shares a hard boiled version of the Night Before Christmas in hopes of cheering up the baby that Eddie has had on the show lately. Bogey tells a little about his rough childhood, all fiction of course. Hattie takes care of the baby, and Bogey offers protection. Will that ominous voice dare to make another appearance to threaten Eddie tonight?
The Mad Russian enters to take some abuse from Bogey, and give back as he jokes with both Eddie and Bogey. . Dinah Shore sings, Mocking Bird. (I think).
Commercial time. Though another phone call comes in to warn Eddie, Bogey helps him handle it. Eddie closes in song, My Kid.
