Orson Wells takes us on a brief tour of Scotlandyard’s Black Museum of items that have been tainted with murder. After a few displays he settles on a .32 calibre bullet.
A robbery, complete with gunplay has gone down and the bandits seem to have disappeared into the streets. With only the barest of descriptions, the cops soon know the general vicinity of where to look for the nondescript young men with white handkerchiefs used for masks.
One clue leads to another, and names begin to be batted around. There’s still not much hard evidence, but once the pressure of interrogation begins, and the distrust of their peers, the tough resolve of the outlaws breaks down.
