Title: Twas the Night Before Christmas.
Clifford and Jack get the Christmas tree ready for the family tree trimming party later. Cousin Jeddiah is surprised at the tree coming inside, thinking its meant for firewood. The eccentric cousin acts like he hasn’t heard of Christmas, or at least not for a long time. Will the family let him play Santa Claus at their family traditional party?
The Yule log is in place, and an atmosphere of excitement rules in the Barber living room. The family sings, and do their parts in trimming the tree, as Clifford accounts for all the decorations and those in charge of them. Will Jeddiah be ready to do his part as Santa Claus, and put the presents around the tree?
Clifford checks on his cousin who is working on repairs to his Santa suit. Meanwhile, the family tell about their tradition of ringing the jingle bells and bringing in presents. Jeddiah insists on not coming down until his Santa suit is perfected. Will he totally miss the family celebration? A cable gram arrives from Paul, with Christmas wishes. The presents are all nearly around the tree, and the scene is beautiful. A hymn of Silent Night caps off the show, and Jeddiah joins the fun.
