Having lost their train tickets, Abner has had to be party to Squire Skimps plan to scam more tickets. Today we find the pair hitchhiking. Will his coaching make Abner’s hitchhiking skills any better? Abner complains about their rides thus far, and Squire tries to work out other ways to have Abner do the dirty work.
A motoring husband and wife pick up our travelers, but their navigatipon soon proves that they are going the wrong direction. Well, maybe, it depends on what the right direction is. Squire manages to manipulate the situation to turn the motorists to the way he wants them to go.
The bickering couple give a lift as far as they can, and when the gebnts finally climb out of the car… well… they find out how far they didn’t go.
