Back in the beauty salon, Lou tries out some more hair styling jokes on Bud. The parade of clients that grace Lou’s business includes a drunken Mel Blanc, the snooty actress Bessy May Mucho, and Lou’s gal Lena Ghensta. Lou has to break up a cat fight, and when Lena threatens to break up, Bud steps in to defend his pal. When Lena walks out on Lu, Bud tries to get him help with some people skills.

Connie Haines sings, Love Letters.

Bud shows Lou a different take on selling his health and beauty aids. The friends go door to door. Lou gets lost when he flubs a line. Folks in the neighborhood already have their own beauty tricks.
