We find the cast wrapping up the last few jokes of the previous show, then George wants to review and evaluate their performance. With the fast paced world of radio comedy, George tries to get the cast organized for a rehearsal for next weeks show. Catch an imaginary glimpse behind the scenes as the cast get their paychecks and toss around ideas for next week.
George also offers criticism to Artie Shaw, Senor Lee, and the rest over their past performance. Gracie suggests assigning parts to the cast to mimic the cast on Jack Benny’s show. The Smoothies sing, Whispering that I Love You.
George runs through a restaurant scene with Gracie. Of course, she and the rest of the cast give George grief over the sketch. Artie Shaw plays a jazzy tune.
Satisfied well enough with the rehearsal, George says goodbye to each of his cast, then has a few words with Gracie in the empty theater. They talk about one of their first dates. After a cute vaudeville style song together, they end the show.
