Clark has been on a mission to accompany a bathosphere to find sunken treasure. After facing pirates, and a storm, it looks like the bathosphere, professor Thorpe, and Gleason the professional diver are lost at the bottom of Octopus Bay. The only hope is that the reserve tank of oxygen will last long enough for a rescue.
It’s sounds like a job for Superman. As Superman searches under the vast stretches of sea, Thorpe and Gleason sit on the gold, trying to conserve their air supply, and fight against panic. The noise is just the thing to help Superman find the bathosphere, and it’s whisked to the surface.
Happy reunions are had all around, but danger still lurks as the pirate Escobar watches the Juanita, and makes his plans to steal the gold.
