Kent and Captain Maddox have escaped the pirate Escobar and are in a race to find a cache of sunken gold treasure.
Superman puts a kink in the pirates plans, and gives professor Thorpe a headstart. The professor makes final calculations, and discovers that his theory on the gold’s location isn’t far away. The bathosphere is made ready for it’s plunge into Octopus Bay. Clark joins Thorpe as they descend to depths that no man has gone before.
What dangers will they find there? It would really suck if they ran out of air, wouldn’t it?
